Rafał Szyndlauer (born in 1977), completed law studies at the University of Lodz (Poland) and at Justus Liebig University in Giessen (Germany) as well as European studies at the Europa Kolleg in Hamburg. From 2003 to 2007 he worked in the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Geneva.
In a period 2007 – 2010 Rafał Szyndlauer completed barrister training (aplikacja adwokacka) in the Bar Association in Lodz. As from 2010 he has been working in the European Commission, initially in its Legal Service in Brussels and currently in the European Commission Regional Representation in Poland.
At work, amongst other issues, Rafal Szyndlauer is responsible for a right application of the EU environmental law. He is married and has two daughters.
